Welcome to my event blog!

My name is Stephanie Vehnon. I am from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. I am an event enthusiast. Organizing and planning events is what I love to do. I do not get the opportunity as much as I would like, so I am pursuing the MA Creative Events Management with Falmouth University, to help expand my options, and seek new opportunities. It is also a great opportunity to learn from people from all over the world!

I believe planned and organized events help establish a positive environment, as well as create social and cultural connections. The impacts of events- socially, culturally, environmentally, and politically- differ greatly from event to event. This is why Event Studies is a great opportunity to engage in research and start filling in some of the gaps that exist within the industry.
